Frequently asked Questions
Q: Can I come visit the puppies?
A: We would love to have you visit the puppies! The parents are on site so we would love to set up a meeting so you can meet the parents and us. We do ask that you respect our privacy, as this is our home, and make an appointment first.
Q: How old does the puppy have to be before I can pick him/her up?
A: Puppies are ready to leave at 8 weeks old. In some cases we may decide to keep them an extra week or two if they need a little more time with their mom in case they aren’t fully weaned- if this is the case for your puppy we will let you know!
Q: What should I do if I would like to get a puppy from you?
A: You can call me or send me a message in whatever way is most convenient for you. We can talk about any questions you have, get the adoption process started, and set up a time for you to come meet them if you would like.
Q: How can I send you the money for a deposit?
A: You can always put it down in cash or check in person if you would like to visit the dogs first. Otherwise it can be sent through Venmo, PayPal (friends and family), or Zelle. Buyer is responsible for any fees.
Q: I have a puppy reserved, but I changed my mind. Now what?
A: If you have already chosen your puppy and just want to switch to a different puppy that is available, let me know. As Long as whatever puppy you would like to switch to is available it's not a problem!
If for some reason you no longer wish to get any puppy from us at this time, please realize the deposit is not refundable. We really appreciate knowing as soon as possible to give us ample time to find a suitable new home for him/her. Those who decide they are not ready for a puppy at this time may possibly have their deposit moved to a future litter if desired.
Q: Why is a larger deposit required if I don’t want the dewclaws removed or tail docked?
A: The majority of our clients want those procedures done so those puppies can be in higher demand. If they are not done by three days of age, it will be too late to do it later. The cost of the puppy will remain the same, but we just want a bigger percentage up front in case the buyer backs out.
Q: I called you and you didn’t answer – what should I do?
A: The best and fastest way to contact me is through text. If you call and I don’t answer please leave a message or send a text. I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Q: What should I expect when I pickup my puppy?
A: I would plan for about a half an hour. You will likely be greeted by our dogs before you even enter the door. We will introduce you to your new family member and go over all of the paperwork and any information you might need to know. Please ask any questions that you have. Then you will be on your way with the newest member of your family.
Q: Do you want us to keep you updated on our puppy?
A:Yes, Yes, Yes! All the puppies we raise have a special place in our heart. One of our highlights of being a breeder is seeing our puppies all grown up in good homes. We never get tired of seeing pictures of our former puppies or getting referrals. We also want to be there for you during all stages, so if you have any questions or concerns, we are here to help with those too.
Q: Are the puppies up to date on their vaccines and deworming?
A: Yes! All of our puppies are up to date on all of their age appropriate vaccines and deworming when they leave our care. Depending on the puppies age when you take them home they may still require 1-2 of their booster shots in the future.
Q: What do the puppies eat?
A: We feed all of our puppies diamond puppy.
