Types of English Springer Spaniels
Field
Field- Hunting/working class in Springers. They are generally smaller, more energetic, primarily white in color and have shorter hair.
Bench
The bench Springers are those that are predominantly meant for show. These dogs have been bred to have longer and fuller coats with more feathering. They are larger boned and are have calmer dispositions
